Knight Of Valentine Part One

Sun shone on the earth of Mobius the winter leaving and preparing to hand over to the dawn of spring. Trees were beginning to regain their usual green form; the white snow had melted bidding a farewell for another year leaving the atmosphere without the ice cold persona and shifted into the chilling yet comforting sense of whether. Sunny days had somewhat returned to the land reminding each being that the sun still existed after the clouded winter of the last months of last year and for the first month of the new year, yes it was February.

As the sunshine dawned once again it slid inside a skylight of a hut, it illuminated the room along with a desk, wardrobe, and the bed along with the 2 beings that lay dormant within its warm covers. The sun crept over the covers and hit the eyes of one, they twitched and winched and slowly reluctantly opened exposing emerald green eyes of a blue figure to the brand new day, once they accepted the new day and the time for rest had past they immediately looked down to their side. They laid on a lilac figure snuggled up on their bodies' chest breathing softly purring with every exhale the figure still remaining in its dreams. The eyes couldn't look away from the figures beauty happy that once again the beauty surrounding its dreams and fantasies had remained with them in reality.

The being dared not move a muscle not to disturb the sleeping beauty from it's slumber, not to take it away from it's peaceful and wondrous world of dreams and force it into the stressful action of waking, the eyes could gaze upon the beautiful creature all day just knowing that it was there all for the eyes to see, the chest's inhale and exhaling became more obvious as it began to move up and down in rhythm rocking the lilac figures head gently while making sure it's pillow remained soft, but it wouldn't last the sudden exposer to movement disturbed it's sleep the creature shifted a little and rustled the covers, little soft moans came from the figure and at last the creature awoke and reviled innocent golden eyes. Once they too had accepted the time of sleep had passed they looked to the eyes of their partner and both sets became filled affection the same affection that had surrounded their hearts for over 3 months since their Christmas miracle.

"Mornin Baby" spoke the blue figure with groggy like passion, after shaking off the remains of grogginess the lilac female figure smiled, "Good morning handsome" she said stretching her head up and kissing his lips and then going back and remaining on his chest, "Sleep well?" he asked, "Yes. I have for the past 3 months... Now that I'm with you" she snuggled deeper into his chest and purring louder just listening to his heart beating in time with her's as if they were one, but in their minds they were. They both closed their eyes again enjoying the last moments they had of rest before the inevitable beginning of their day had to begin. 10 minutes of their peaceful embrace went on with them doing nothing except for the male stroking his partners head and her snuggling more into his chest.
"Well... ~yawn~ I think I'm gonna get up what about you?" the male asked, the female yawned to, "Yeah me too" the female slowly lifted her head off his chest, and the male exited the bed first shivering from the loss of cozy warmth but lost the drowsiness and was now alert, and once again Sonic the hedgehog was back into the world, again starting the day by waking up to the love of his life Blaze the cat.

He looked back to her she had stolen the covers that were his wrapping them around herself maintaining the warmth that comforted her, "So I guess I'm going first then?" Sonic smirked knowing Blaze wanted to get dressed first, "Yes, what do you want?" Sonic started to exit the room, "The usual Gorgeous!" he called back; he left the bedroom leaving Blaze to get dressed and entered the bathroom and had a shower for 10 minutes. Once he'd finished he stepped out dried himself and stepped out into the lounge where over in the kitchen was Blaze now fully dressed cooking breakfast, he noticed she still was wearing the ring with the emeralds around her wrist she still had kept her promise she hadn't taken it off since he gave it to her on Christmas, he smiled and walked towards her. When Blaze turned round to see he had finished she hugged and kissed him, "sausages and bacon have been on for 5, eggs have just gone on" she said, she kissed him again and walked to the bathroom to have her shower which she had with the ring still on her wrist, this had always been the way since the first night after Christmas one would get up clean themselves while the other started breakfast, and once the one finished cleaning themselves they would switch and they would finish breakfast, this had always been the way they worked weather it was making breakfast or fighting Eggman or just spending time they always did it together, no matter what they did they were always inseparable.

Blaze spent 15 minutes in the bathroom where as by that time Sonic had finished cooking and now was on the verge of finishing the toast, no sooner Blaze finished and reentered the lounge the toast popped out of the toaster and was immediately placed on their individual plates with the rest completing their breakfast. The plates were set down on a dining table in the kitchen next to each other. Blaze went up to Sonic and kissed him, they sat down next to each other, their plates were almost similar delicious sausages and bacon, glass of milk on the side, the only difference was Sonic liked his egg hard boiled while Blaze liked her's soft boiled. They sat down side by side kissed each other and then dug in. Blaze had made Sonic get into the habit of not devouring the food in one, where as Blaze had settled down and eat like a normal person no longer being self conscious of her royal background for she knew in this world and especially to Sonic it didn't matter.

Once they finished everything Sonic got up and stretched "Ahh perfect as always, Baby you're the best cook in the world" he was savoring the remains of taste that was in his mouth, "Thanks your finishing touches are as best as ever too" Blaze said getting up as well. They each reached for their own plate then they went for each others when their arms intertwined, they looked for a couple a seconds slightly amazed of how in sync they were together, they smiled and kissed. When they released they made a deal and let go of their own plate and let the other have it and went to the sink together. It was big enough for both of them to stand over so they washed their plates and dried them giving occasional affectionate kisses on the forehead to each other. Once the plates were dry and been put back back in place they both went and sat on the couch, Sonic laid back and Blaze put her head on his chest and snuggled in again like in bed, Sonic stroked Blaze's head and just listened to her soft purring. He looked infront of him to his hung picture gallery, he had rearranged it over the 3 months pictures in different places but they all surrounded his picture of him and Blaze in the middle being like friends but the official picture of them was still by his bedside, he also spotted the other new pictures he had added he had got rid of the one where Amy was jumping on him and replaced it with one of them standing side by side giving thumbs up to the camera, the final acceptance that they nothing more but best friends, and another one where she was with Shadow her arms wrapped around him and Shadow doing the same wearing the biggest smile he'd ever had, and next to it was a picture of Shadow with Amy and him and Blaze each holding their respected partner. He then looked up through the sky light seeing the remainder of clouds starting to roll away reveling somewhat clear blue sky, he then decided to get on with today's business.

"So where dya want to go today beautiful?" Sonic had always asked this, when not saving the world they'd always go somewhere weather it was the beach, forest, mountains it didn't matter as long as they were together. "Hmm... You pick" she said looking up to him, Sonic thought for a few seconds and came up with an idea. "Hey I got an idea, how bout we go on a world tour," Blaze sat up and looked at him "What do you mean" she asked "I mean let's take a vacation, let's take off for a week or two, see the world what dya think?" he looked over to her to see her reaction which hadn't changed "hmmm I don't know." she said looking to the sky light, "Ah come on" Sonic moved closer and put his arm round her "Everyone's fine around here, Eggman hasn't shown up so far this year, and even if he did you can take the sol emeralds anywhere with you," Sonic continued to scan Blaze's face for any sign of approval he saw a smile of interest but still saw doubt, "Okaaayy if we get even a whiff that Egghead's causin trouble we'll come straight home ok?" Blaze closed her eyes trying to in vision the thought of her and Sonic going on a trip around the world just the two of them she had to admit it seemed a great idea; she took a deep breath and opened her eyes. "Alright Let's go!" she said happily "Cool this is gonna be great" Sonic said getting up off the couch "When do we leave?" Blaze watched Sonic walk back to the bedroom "Right now" Sonic turned back to look at her with a smile on his face. Blaze was slightly stunned at the proposal of sudden departure, but got up and followed him. Sonic opened the wardrobe and pulled out an old suitcase and laid it out on the bed, Blaze went to the wardrobe also and pulled out 3 similar cloaks that Cream and Vanilla had made for her to wear instead of wearing one piece of clothing for the whole length of her stay, they were the same pattern made of the same martial but they were different colors to her normal purple one, she had a red one similar to her Burning Blaze form, a dark green one for another casual wear, a blue one for matching Sonic and a white one for special occasions which she was yet to wear and put them neatly inside, Sonic meanwhile had been to the bathroom and gathered their shampoo and tooth brush's and paste and the hair drier ect and placed them by the side of the suitcase... Best to let Blaze sort it out. But Sonic noticed Blaze didn't have any beach wear, if they were going on a global trip they would surely go to one, "We'll go shopping before we leave" Blaze stopped packing and looked at him "why? What for?" she asked "to get you something to wear for the beach, I'm sure we find you a bathing suit" Blaze's eyes widened with irritation "You think I'm fat?!" she scowled, Sonic panicked (Not a good thing to suggest what a girl should wear to the beach. "No I mean I just thought you-" Blaze stopped him by putting a finger on his mouth, "Don't finish that sentence hedgehog." Sonic stayed silent "I'll pick what I'm going to wear understand?" she demanded, "yeph ma'm" Sonic muffled behind Blaze's finger. "Good boy" Blaze released Sonic's mouth "Now come on let's finish packing" Blaze said seeming to have let Sonic's suggestion slide she loved him too much to stay mad at him for even a minute. "Ok" Sonic agreed taking in the new knowledge to never suggest what she should wear to the beach. (Most men shouldn't)

They continued to pack what they needed once that was done all that was left was to get Blaze's beach wear. "Alright let's go" Sonic said heading towards the door, "Remember I'm picking what I wear got it?" Blaze said severely while following close behind "got it" Sonic responded urgently quick careful not to say something wrong. Sonic opened the door to the sun shining on the grass and over to the horizon, the new exposer to the cooler temperature outside made him shiver slightly, the cooling breeze to him felt like a welcome home he had always lived for the outdoor world filled with wonder and sense of the unknown. Blaze stepped out but no shiver came from her due to the literal fire inside, but was starting to feel the breeze as a welcome too, it was another reason why she loved Sonic for it was him that meant she could live her dream no being in solitude guarding emeralds, no longer suffering alone, no being stuck in one place all her life, she was free as a stallion running across the plains, and she had a love that would run with her and would never leave her side, as long as she was with Sonic she was in paradise.

"So which position do you want this time baby?" Sonic was asking how he was going to carry her, "Hmm think I'll choose shootgun this time" Blaze smiled "Uh it's actually shotgun, but anyway sure hop on". Blaze was slightly embarrassed she hadn't got the hang of quite every phrase that a "Normal" girl would use, but quickly forgot about it and jumped straight into Sonic's arms so now she was resting in bridal style. She snuggled into his chest once again and looked happily up into his eyes feeling completely safe. "Hang on tight" Sonic called to her, "Hpmm speak for yourself; remember when you tripped" She giggled "Hey it was one time!" Sonic moaned of being reminded that one moment while showing off he tripped on a tree root that came out of nowhere and nearly fell over while Blaze was in his arms, she didn't get mad but she didn't talk to him for nearly 2 hours after. Blaze smirked seemingly unconvinced, "Hey it's not my fault you're too irresssitable" Sonic cooed dropping in a romantic line, Blaze giggled and playfully swatted Sonic's cheek "Just try to watch where you're going this time okay honey?" Sonic closed his eyes and smiled and chuckled, he then lowered his head and kissed her on her's "I'll try angel" and with that said Sonic sped off with Blaze in his arms looking ahead to watch the world fly past them and somewhat going into their own, Blaze just snuggled into Sonic's chest more while she listened to his heart beat, even at super sonic speed it only sped up slightly she got giddy for it meant he could go faster and that a bigger thrill ride could be her's if she wanted it. She happily rested in his arms as they headed for the last and for Sonic the hardest preparation for their vacation... Women's shopping.

The trip to the shopping mall wasn't fun to start with. Rabid fan girls from every direction pleading for a photo or an autograph, female employees were being carried out like courtwood in every clothes shop they went to, fainting from Sonic asking them a simple question, the time had finally come where Sonic went from being bothered by all the attention to hating it cause not only was it ruining and cutting into his time with Blaze it was also making her feel uncomfortable and with Sonic an unhappy Blaze meant an unhappy Sonic.
After finally shaking off the crowd of maniacs they finally found a sain clothes shop to look in, they went together to the beach wear section and eventually did find some that interested Blaze.
"Ok...so why don't you go try them on in the changing room Blaze" Sonic said leading her to the changing rooms "But I want to get your opinion on which one suits me best" Sonic looked puzzled "Well when you got them on you can step out and show me" Blaze looked down looking embarrassed " but... I... c-c-can't" she stuttered, Sonic raised an eyebrow "Huh? Why not?" Blaze looked past Sonic making Sonic look in that direction, Sonic sighed with annoyance the crazy mob had managed to track them down but were being held from the shop by security, Sonic instantly understood why Blaze didn't want to present BEACH WEAR of all things infront of a giant crowd something even a normal person would have huge trouble doing. Sonic thought quickly and saw the clerk behind the counter, "Hey pal, you got anyplace where we can get changed in PRIVITE?!" Sonic said shouting the emphasis directing it to the crazed fanbase, "Uh yes sir we have a spare room at the back follow me" the clerk replied, Sonic and Blaze both went round behind the counter and followed the guy through the door behind it and they followed him down the hall. "Here it is sir, a private personal changing room, just come back to the counter once you're finished" Sonic opened a door on the right and they walked in "Thanks man" the guy remained outside and closed the door behind them.

The room was a moderate size much bigger then a usual changing cubicle found in any store, it had mirrors covering one side kinda looked like a dance studio. Sonic went over and sat down on one of the chairs on the side while Blaze had a look around, then Blaze decided to get on with it didn't want to stay too long for the off chance the mob might break down the door and loose Sonic in the sure to be ocean of raging fans, but this made her feel like the luckiest girl in the world all of those girls would jump at the chance of being his but no, he chose her.
Blaze went to take off her cloak, Sonic followed his natural reaction and turned away Blaze sighed "You don't need to turn away you're gonna have to look anyway" she giggled to her silly hedgehog, Sonic reluctantly turned round but yet wanted to. He watched in amazement as she removed her cloak which presented her beautiful figure. Sonic couldn't look away, admiring every aspect of her mesmerizing body Blaze then approached Sonic seemingly unfazed about being half naked out of the house and infront of Sonic who still hadn't been able to break his entrancement over the beauty that was walking towards him, a goofy yet affectionate smile had appeared on his face, strange yet arousing thoughts had began to form in his mind, Blaze came and picked up a few of the beach wears Sonic was so tempted to stroke her soft body and get the thrill of the feel but quickly realized this wasn't the place for romantic antics so he held back much to his temptation. Blaze walked back with the beach wear in hand, she looked at herself in the mirror a hint of vanity came to her when she saw Sonic admiring her in the mirrors reflection still having that same smile, she decided to have fun and play with him since they were alone she ruffled her hair making it sway, she looked in the mirror again seeing Sonic's smile had grew he was in love lala land completely oblivious to the world outside the room. There was only Blaze. She stopped teasing him and decided to finally get on with it, "Ahem" she called over to Sonic but he was too in his own world of dazed affection. To try and bring him back to pay attention she snapped her fingers and a little flame appeared on the end of one, she pointed over to Sonic and flame flew over to him, the flame got closer to the top of his head until it got to the point of touching it.
"Yowww!" Sonic yelled finally snapping out of his loving little world slapping the top of his head, "Now that I have your attention mind turning round" Blaze said sounding annoyed, "Ow, what was that for?" Sonic moaned unaware of how much he had been staring at her, "I said turn around, let me get changed" she scolded. Sonic quickly turned round fighting the urge to look, thou how much he wanted to he more didn't want to disobey her for it could lead to a severe burning at her hands, Blaze loved Sonic completely but never in the 3 months they had been together had she let Sonic see her naked and she wasn't starting now.

"Ok, you can turn round now" Blaze called over to Sonic, Sonic turned round waiting to see what wonders his eyes would see but what Sonic saw was beyond anything he could imagined. Blaze was standing with a wink having her arms behind her head in a aqua colored swim suit. "Well. What do you think?" she asked politely wearing a curious expression, Sonic's eyes widened with happy disbelief "Wow... You look great" Blaze smiled "Well don't choose yet there's still others that I have to try on" Sonic turned round again letting Blaze get changed "hehe don't worry baby. Take your time. I'm in NO rush" Sonic cooed even though it hadn't started yet this had already turned into the best vacation he ever had.
Blaze continued to change into different types of beach wear, most of them were swim suits but a few bathing suits too but Blaze wasn't fond of them due to Sonic earlier suggestion for them, she shifted through all colors of the rainbow yellow, green, white ect all the while adolescent visions danced around in Sonic's mind. They kept getting better each time the ones he really liked were the black, red, white, bikinis. He had turned once more waiting to see what other beautiful image he would admire, "Ok Sonic, this is the last one, what do you think?" she called allowing Sonic to feast his eyes again, when Sonic turned round his jaw dropped, Blaze was standing in the pose with a wink and a soft smile in a Sonic blue bikini, the bottom half fit her figure so well and really showed the wonder of her body, the bra though not reviling was connected by two straps on the front, though not paying direct attention to that feature he was speechless he just stood and loved the view, "Do you like it? I picked it especially for you" Sonic's goofy loving grin had returned "for me?" he repeated in a blank loving tone "Yeah, it's so we match so guys know I'm your girlfriend so they'll leave me alone" Blaze replied oblivious that Sonic's mind had gone off, "Your mine" Sonic said again completely zoned out, "Do you like it?" Blaze asked again, a little voice inside Sonic's head tried to drag him back "she's takin to ya you idiot wake up, wake up" that voice sounded like his own must be his self conscious, Sonic's brain and mind came back online and thought quickly for a response. "I love it. But it's not the most beautiful thing I see" He cooed while walking next to Blaze which made Blaze blush "Aww thank you sweetie" she replied but Sonic seemed to be distracted, "Hm? Oh I was talking about my reflection" he flowed his fingers through his hair "Ahh lookin good" he said smugly. Blaze returned a sarcastic smile "Well in that case I'll leave you two alone then" she sneered "Hehe I'm kiddin baby" Sonic chuckled he took a second look at her "You look beautiful Blaze, you look absolutely sexy" he cooed he reached for her but then hesitated "May I?" he said asking permission if he could touch her which made Blaze giggle "Yes you may" she answered, at that Sonic couldn't compose himself he practically jumped to her and put his hands on her waist, he then moved his arms round her back and gave her a hug putting his head on her shoulders getting mesmerized on her pure natural scent. Feeling her half naked body feeling her fur so soft and so warm and so beautiful, everything about her was beautiful. Sonic made the first move and planted his lips to her's, their bodies became filled with the loving passion that had lived in their hearts since their admission to eachothers affection, Sonic was going to his own world again and wanted to continue and make out but Blaze pushed away much to Sonic's rush of passion, Sonic tried to plant his lips to her's again but Blaze put her finger on his lips "na uh uh" she denied playfully Sonic opened his eyes which on her words had now become puppy dogs, a slight whine came from Sonic which only made Blaze giggle more "save it until the vacation darling" she played. Sonic's eyes dropped in disappointment Blaze removed her finger and kissed him softly, "we're finished now so the sooner we buy and leave the sooner we can start our vacation" she continued, Sonic didn't know what to think he started to form a cycle in his mind trying to decide what he wanted more "Romantic vacation, Blaze posing, romantic vacation, Blaze posing," the cycle started to speed up till it got to the point when he just went with the flow "Uh ok".

"Now let me change back and we'll leave" Blaze insisted now excited on how close she was to doing what she'd always wanted see the Sonic's entire world with her blue beloved blur at her side. "oh, ok" Sonic said seemingly disappointed that the fashion like show had ended, but quickly snapped out of it realizing he was going to see it more when they went to the beach. Sonic turned away for the last time in his mind going over anything they might of forgotten but nothing came to his mind "Okay done," Blaze called from behind when Sonic turned round sure enough Blaze was back in her usual purple cloak holding each beach wear in her arms "So which ones do you think suit me best?" she asked "All of them" Sonic chuckled "I'm serious" Blaze giggled. Sonic thought for a minute happily reliving each attire she wore each one making her even more beautiful, the red, black and white ones were a definite but what else? He remembered the last one she wore the Sonic blue one; he drifted off to his own world from the memory of her standing there in it... "So... Irresistible" he said over and over in his mind Sonic could of stayed like this all day. "Well?" Blaze asked calling him back to reality "Hm? Uh? What?" Sonic jumped finally blinking "which ones do you like?" she asked again "Um I really like the red, black and white ones, oh and I really love the blue one" he answered, Blaze giggled "I knew you would, okay I'll buy them then" she replied happily "Huh? That's it? You're not gonna ask the staff what they think is best?" Sonic asked surprised by her quick decision, "mm hmm, as long as you like how I look I don't care what anyone else thinks", Sonic smiled "Well I think you always look beautiful no matter what you wear, I love you regardless." He said affectionately, he walked up and put his arm around her and she did the same, they both looked in the mirrors and saw how happy they were together, how their bodies fitted like pieces of a puzzle like they were literally made for each other. "I'm one lucky hedgehog" Sonic said kissing Blaze on the forehead "and I'm the luckiest cat" she replied with the same affection "I love you too Sonic." Sonic chuckled "What's so funny?" she asked "it's funny... I still can't believe a princess has chosen me to be her's... A regular guy I mean... Can it even happen?" Sonic said still gazing at themselves in the mirror. Blaze turned his head to face her's "I don't care, Sonic... You could be the most wanted criminal in the world and I will still be falling for you" Sonic kissed her on the cheek "it doesn't matter to me either, the world could put a restraining order on me but I will still fight through hundreds of armies to be by your side". They looked deep into eachothers eyes and kissed their tongues intertwining and mixing saliva again creating a potion of passion. They released eachother and smiled at eachother "Come on let's get outta here, I'm itchin to start our vacation" he said softly "ok" Blaze agreed and held Sonic's hand and together they walked towards the door. Sonic opened the door and they went back through the hall back to the counter.

"Is everything alright sir? Did you find something you liked?" the clerk asked smiling " oh you bet we did" Sonic smirked pulling Blaze closer to his side "oh good, well then I'll get you a bag" the clerk said. Sonic and Blaze went over to the other side of the counter but soon as they did they got thrown back into reality "OHH MY GOD IT'S HIM!!! HE'S STILL HERE!! QUICK GET A PICTURE!!! I LOVE YOU SONIC!! SONIC!!! PLEASE BE MY BOYFRIEND!!!!" came the screams of many fan girls who still hadn't left the shops door, the mall security were defiantly earning their money today. "Oh god don't they ever give up," Sonic moaned Blaze on the other hand was becoming annoyed but a devious idea entered her mind, "HEY GIRLS!!!" Blaze shouted towards the hoard which caught their attention, she gave an evil smile and then without warning grabbed Sonic and pulled him in and kissed him, as shocked as Sonic was to the sudden movement he couldn't resist the rush of love he got when kissing her so he wrapped his arms around her and matched her kissing. When they released Blaze looked smugly to the crowd of mostly heart broken girls "THIS ONE'S MINE!!" she shouted seductively. Though some were heart broke some others jaws were dropped all looking at Sonic for any sign of hope praying for it not to be true. "It's true!" Sonic said cheerfully he then put his hands on her stomach and kissed the back of her neck "I'm her's" he said not seeming to have a problem with breaking their hearts, mostly because he broke Amy's heart before and he came out unscaved so if he could survive Amy he could survive any girl.
"You're lying!" screamed an adamant fan girl "Snap out of it Sonic!! She's got you under a spell!!" she screamed, Blaze got more annoyed that her idea hadn't disheartened every girl before she could think up another plan Sonic spoke up; "If love is a spell then call me bewitched!" Sonic set Blaze's chosen beach wear on the counter and paid for them using something that the government set up for him for how many times he had saved the world called hero credit, the clerk put them in a bag and handed it to Sonic. "Thank you sir, have a nice day" Sonic and Blaze turned to face the crowd of heart sobbing fans and wanted to finish the act and actually start their vacation. "So my beautiful enchantress" Sonic chuckled seductively "have you got anymore orders for me?" Blaze turned round and but her hands on his chest "Yes take me home" she giggled seductively matching Sonic "As you wish my love" Sonic replied and picked up Blaze in his arms while she held onto the bag. Sonic planted his feet and sped in the short space in the shop and leaped over the crowd and sped for the malls exit with some delioulios fans futily giving chase, they sped through the mall, through all the high streets and back out into the open countryside with Blaze giggling all the way from their romantic joke.

5 minutes later Sonic skidded to a halt infront just centimeters
From homes door Blaze dropped down from his arms and opened the door "hope everything's going to be alright while we're gone" Blaze said "Oh Shoot!" Sonic moaned "What is it? You forgot something?" she asked sounding worried. "We haven't told anyone we're goin on vacation, don't want them to worry about us wonderin where we've gone" Blaze though smiled "well, why don't you go and tell them and I'll finish packing" she replied, "are you sure?" Sonic asked sincerely he felt slightly bad about leaving Blaze to do all the work "of course, it's all my stuff I need to finish packing anyway, go on Sonic it's fine" she said happily Sonic though stayed quiet, Blaze giggled and hugged him "go Sonic I want you to, don't make me use the princess card on you" she continued. Sonic smiled softly and looked into her beautiful golden eyes. "Ok" he said, Blaze went to pull away but Sonic pulled her back into an embrace "I love you" Sonic said softly "I love you too" Blaze said matching his softness and they kissed eachother lightly. "I'll wait for you" Blaze said affectionately Sonic smirked "Wait? Per leaseee do you think at my speed I'd leave you waiting" Sonic said sounding cocky as usual "No, I was just-" Sonic put a finger on her soft lips cutting her off, "Don't finish that sentence kitten" Blaze went bright red and just stared lovingly into his emerald eyes although Sonic had never called her kitten before, she loved it. Sonic removed his finger and walked towards the door "I'll go see Tails, I'll ask him to spread the word it won't take that long then" Sonic said turning back to her one more time, "ok see you soon" Blaze called back to him, and with that Sonic signaled goodbye and sped off, Blaze felt a cooling little gust of wind, it flew through her hair and felt it flow in the breeze, while she turned and went to put her new clothes in the suitcase while Sonic was speeding through the wide open world on his way to tie up the last loose end, and once that was done the vacation could finally
begin.

It only took Sonic about 2 or 3 minutes to reach Tails's house he knocked on the door but instead of seeing his usual twin tailed friend the young spunky pink hedgehogess none other than Amy Rose stood at the door with a big welcoming smile " Oh hi Sonic it's good to see ya" Amy said beaming, "Hey Amy what are ya doin here?" Sonic asked, ever since he and her had found their own separate partners he didn't cringe being near her anymore he felt completely fine knowing she wouldn't obsess over him anymore, "I'm here with Shadow, Tails is helping to develop a way that Shadow can use his full power without the need to remove his energy rings and getting all tired out" she said still smiling "okay, cool, well I need to talk to him do you mind?" Sonic asked, "not at all come in" Amy said stepping aside allowing him entrance Sonic walked in "Him and Shadow are upstairs come on" Amy said walking towards the stairs, Sonic followed her up and when they came to the final step he saw the room was filled with machines of all shapes and sizes and over in the far right corner by a table stood the black hedgehog Shadow and the yellow twin tailed fox Tails, "Hey Tails hey Shadow what's up guys" Sonic called over, Tails and Shadow both turned round "Hey Sonic!" Tails exclaimed happily, Sonic walked over and gave Tails a high five "Hpmm hi Sonic" said Shadow giving a cool confident smile " how ya doin Shadow?" replied Sonic they banged knuckles, "I'm great" he said as Amy came over and leant on him "really great" Shadow finished then kissing Amy on the cheek, Shadow had changed since being with Amy he thought less about Maria and became more friendly with everyone, the black hedgehog had a new lease on life. "So how's the project going?" Sonic asked though preparing to drift off when the technical stuff came "it's going alright" Shadow answered "but it's gonna take some time, but if we can make it work I'll be stronger, meaning I won't have any trouble beating you in a race... Not that it's a challenge anyway" Shadow finished sounding confident "Oh isn't it" Sonic replied sarcastically "Well I'll be happy to prove you wrong, but I've got something important to take care of"
"Oh yeah So... Sonic what was it you need to talk to Tails about?" Amy asked making Sonic get back to business "oh right Uh just so you guys know I'm goin vacation with Blaze for a couple of weeks"
"Oh that's wonderful, where are you going" she asked pepped up of curiosity "We're going all around the world, I'm gonna give her a super sonic world tour"
"Oh how romantic, where you going to go first?" Amy questioned further anxious to know every detail "I think... I'll take her to Apotos...Then I'm thinkin Spagonia."

"Spangonia! Oh now that IS romantic" Amy giggled in excitement, "oh I hope you two have a good time with your romantic getaway" Amy said as she hugged Sonic, her hugs weren't forceful anymore they were soft and content, "don't get lost, we've got a race that needs deciding" Shadow sneered shaking Sonic's hand, "Hm, I won't, you just better be ready to lose" Sonic replied acting cocky "So... This is your present to her this year?" Tails asked "present? What do you mean?" Sonic asked that response alerted all three of his friends "What! You haven't got her a present for Valentines day yet?" Amy asked, The word hit Sonic like a bolt of lightning "Ohhoo you're going to get it" Shadow said with what seemed like concern, "Come on Sonic, Valentines day is tomorrow" Tails said, Sonic panicked when he looked at the calendar on Tails's working desk with x's counting down the days the next unmarked date was flashing in his mind February 13th. He started scavenging through his mind trying to think of what he could do, maybe she didn't know about Valentines day, maybe he could let it slip by and she wouldn't know, but wait what if she did know, he could always say that the trip was his present, but those ideas were dishonest... He couldn't lie, not to her, that's not what love gets built on. "I guess I'm done for" Sonic sighed thinking he might of put the nail in the coffin "Wait Sonic why not just say that the trip is the present" Amy recommended "No Amy... I'm not lying to her I love her too much to do that to her" Sonic said, Amy came over and put her hand on Sonic's shoulder "don't worry Sonic there's still time", those words gave Sonic a little hope; maybe he could find something for Blaze while on vacation. Sonic sighed again "...Well I guess I'd better get going" Sonic hugged Amy one more time, banged knuckles with Shadow and gave Tails a hug then walked back over to the stairs "try to not let the world get destroyed while I'm gone" Sonic sneered "see ya later!" his friends called to him Sonic gave them the thumbs up and walked back downstairs, and left the house and sped back to his beautiful princess.

When home was in sight so was Blaze holding the suitcase her face lit up, he skidded to a halt making sure the dust didn't touch her, "how was Tails?" she asked coming up to him and kissing him "heh he's cool, Amy and Shadow were there to" Sonic replied kissing her back on the cheek, "so they know we're going to be gone?" she asked with confidence, "yeah, I asked them not to let the world go up in flames while we're on vacation" Blaze giggled "I'm sure they'll be alright" Sonic gave a sarcastic smile "excuse me? You're the one who was worried about weather Eggman would show" Sonic sneered "I'm just thinking" she retorted which made Sonic chuckle "hey don't worry, if Egghead comes I'll protect you" Blaze laughed "you always have to the knight in shining armor don't you?" she sneered softly, Sonic pulled Blaze in closer she rested her head on his chest and purred softly; "yep, I'm your hedgehog and I always will be". On those soft words Blaze purring became louder "Hmhm, come on, let's get going" Sonic said while cuddling in her shoulder, Blaze looked into his eyes and before she knew it she was being scooped up into his arms; and with one last look at the house "Alright! Let's go on vacation and I know where to go first!" Sonic shouted and with Blaze in his arms he sped off beginning their time off; first stop; Apotos.


The trip took over an hour all the while Blaze had been mesmerized by the luscious green forests and plains that she had seen, the strong majestic mountains, the smooth and calm seas, so this is what Sonic's world looked like, it was beautiful, all the while feeling Sonic's touch she knew she was in paradise this was her wildest dream but it was real. When they came to a hill with windmills Sonic screeched to a halt snapping Blaze out of her trance, "What's wrong, are we there already?"
Sonic put Blaze down and walked to the other side of the hill looking at the ground as if looking for something, "Sonic what's wrong?" Blaze asked again with increasing concern, Sonic stopped seeming to have found what he was looking for. Blaze went and stood by him trying to see what it was, they were looking at two big holes in the ground. A grin came across Sonic's face "Ahh feels like yesterday" Sonic sighed happily Blaze was confused, he was smiling at... Two big holes? "What do you mean?" Blaze asked her curiosity rising to its peak, Sonic chuckled "it's a long story, let's just say it brought out a new side of me"
Blaze was excited to hear one of Sonic's adventures though Sonic was never arrogant talking about himself and about his past adventures in fact he never talked about them unless Blaze wanted to know but she wanted to know every side of Sonic, "I'll tell you on the way" Sonic started to walk towards what seemed to be a beautiful architectural town in the distance she followed Sonic and he began to tell his story; of dark Gaia, Eggmans plan, the world being split apart, about Chip, and him being turned in a werehog.


"Wow, so you raced all around the world, turning into... A beast at night and saved the world... All in a few weeks" Blaze summarized to Sonic while walking through the entrance gate of the town after Sonic had finished telling her about his worldwide adventure, "Yeah, and I have to say it was no walk in the park, if it wasn't for Chip I wouldn't be here, I keep his ring to remind me to be grateful of that," Blaze remembered seeing that ring at home "Oh so that's what that ring is" Blaze said now realizing it's meaning "Yep, when I ran out of juice after fighting Dark Gaia Chip chucked me back to the surface he gave me his ring after I crashed down to the ground the second time, he said he'd always be with me as part as the earth I tread, the ring was to help me never forget that." Blaze thought for a moment thinking back to the other items she'd seen "so do all those special items on that shelf mean something to you?" Blaze asked Sonic stopped and thought for a moment, "Well... The rose in the plant pot is a reminder to live life while we can, the air board... That's about being free as the wind. The fake emerald is kinda for Shadow, in a way it's about learning from your mistakes and just be you. "What about the feather?" Blaze asked curious if the items meant something why didn't he seem to care about that one? "...Never. Go back. To Soleana" Sonic said seriously "...Where's Soleana?" She asked "it's a far away kingdom" this didn't seem so bad to Blaze "why never go back?" Blaze asked anxious to know why Sonic felt for the first time to avoid a place, Sonic thought again, "... I don't know, it just feels...like I shouldn't go there, I feel if... There's a person there who I don't want to meet" (a certain someone cries) Blaze and Sonic looked at eachother and knew they should just forget about it, what was the point? If it made even one of them uncomfortable it didn't matter, so Blaze let her curiosity take over, she still wanted to know every detail of his worldwide adventure. "... Did it hurt?" she asked sounding concerned "hmm?" Sonic mumbled "...changing at night. Did it hurt?" she asked again her concern starting to increase, Sonic looked down wishing not to worry her but again he couldn't lie to Blaze. "...yeah... It did, turning at night felt like nails being pushed out from inside of me," Blaze's face was horrified she couldn't bare the image of Sonic screaming in pain in the night, "Oh Sonic" Blaze whimpered hugging Sonic "I'm sorry you had to go through that pain without me" Sonic calmed her down by wrapping his arms around her and then rocking her gently "It's ok baby, you had no way of knowing. Hey, come on we're on vacation this isn't a time to be upset this is a time to let go and just enjoy ourselves" Sonic looked at her face to see it smiling "You're right" she replied softly. When she and Sonic let go they turned their attention back to the town ahead of them "wow it's so beautiful" Blaze said walking ahead looking around the town ahead of her, Sonic caught up and put his arm around, "yeah it is... Blaze. Welcome to Apotos, the start of our vacation.

Sonic and Blaze began to continue to walk into the town but just up ahead was to Sonic an all too familiar street corner. As they walked closer to it an all too familiar voice noticed them, "Well well well if it isn't my favorite customer" Sonic and Blaze looked to the middle of a balcony like pier to see an ice-cream man waving to them, "Hey pal! Long time no see!" Sonic yelled back Sonic lead Blaze over to him and stood infront of his stand "my my it's been too long my friend, how have you been?" he asked happily "I've been good, after saving the world I've had a few fights here and there, how's things been here since I was around" his question made the ice-cream mans face light up " Ahh business has been good, Mufid returned to Shamar and started his own ice-cream business from my teaching, more people have come to Apotos since your appearance here last time... So... What brings you back to Apotos?" he asked still beaming "WE'RE on vacation" Sonic answered proudly looking affectionately to Blaze, the ice-cream man looked over at her "Ahh and who is this lovely flower that accompanies you?" he asked happily "this is Blaze, Blaze meet Antonio an old friend of mine" Sonic said,
"hello" she responded kindly giving a slight bow "madam, such a pleasure to meet you" he took Blaze's hand and kissed it lightly "the beauty of Apotos does not rival your elegance" Blaze started giggling, "it's a pleasure to meet you too and may I say I think your town is the most beautiful place I've seen" she said kindly, her complement made his face light up even more "you have chosen a jewel my friend you are a very lucky man" he beamed looking at the couple "hehe I know" Sonic agreed softly kissing her on the cheek, Antonio bent down behind his stand and came back up with two delicious looking ice-creams " how long are you staying?" he inquired further "uhh... I think we're staying for bout a week, then we're movin on to Spagonia, and then... we'll decide where next after." Antonio just smile "ahh it's your world adventure all over again my friend, but at least you have your special lady to enjoy it with this time, please, take these on the house as a welcome gift to Apotos" he handed them both to the couple and they happily accepted them "wow thanks pal!" Sonic exclaimed "Oh please it's the least I can do for the global hero and his lovely lady" he said having the biggest smile ever, Blaze just was amazed by the ice-cream, she had never seen such an amazing piece of food, one scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice-cream, covered in caramel, topped with cream with chocolate sprinkles, two chocolate sticks, and a wafer all embedded into the ice-cream, 3 cherries were resting on each side, a jelly bean was poking out the side, and all around luscious whipped cream circled the entire thing, this sort of thing to her didn't seem like something to be eaten but to be gazed as art. "That is the Chocolate chip cream sundae supreme," Antonio answered proudly "It's the pride food of all of Apotos, go on try it" he encouraged eagerly to know her opinion, with no hesitation she licked it. The taste rolled around in her mouth, it was exquisite the soothing chocolate the sweet caramel and the accompanying vanilla, it was the best sweet she had ever tasted, the only thing that tasted better was Sonic's lips. "Well whadya think? Good huh" Antonio asked confidently, Blaze stepped out of savoring the sweet taste to answer "it- it's delicious" she squeaked in unexpected excitement "it's the most gorgeous and most attractive sweet I've ever tasted" she continued Antonio just looked on having a confident smile "well I'm happy you approve madam, I do hope you enjoy your time here in our beautiful town, so what's your first sight you're going to see hmm?" he asked seeming eager "Uh actually we're gonna find a place to stay you know where we can find a good hotel?" Sonic asked "Oh yes I highly recommend the Apotos garden hotel, very exquisite perfect for you and your lady" Antonio said "cool thanks can you point us in the right direction" Sonic asked seeming excited to getting the final preparation finished so they could start relaxing, "yes, if you continue to walk down this road you'll see the hotel, it's covered in beautiful flowers and has a lovely view of the ocean you can't miss it" Antonio said pointing up towards the road, "Alright! Thanks pal" Sonic shouted seeming excited "you also go pass the Gaia gate, you might want to check it out it's become quite a site since last time you were here." he added "Alright we will, Thanks pal, we'll see you around" Sonic said starting to walk up the road with Blaze, "Don't be shy my friends, I hope to see you soon" they waved goodbye to eachother and they walked up the road.

Sonic decided they should walk the rest of the way, he wanted to let Blaze see and take in all the wonders that surrounded her rather then make them become a blur at his usual speed as he was used to, Blaze's eyes were magnetized to the new world around her, foreign tasty sea foods, children laughing and playing and running past them in the streets all looking happy, artistic modern buildings held strong increasing the beauty, people were waving hello and coming up to them and were being friendly, kids came up and cheered for Sonic, Blaze caught the attention of most of the girls saying that she was pretty and asking her what it was like to travel the world with Sonic, she told them it was wonderful speeding round the world, she tried to tell them about responsibility and waiting but they were too focused on seeing them to understand. After the kids went off to play the couple finally found peace and continued to walk on, a new beautiful place, friendly people gorgeous food, Blaze was sure she had gone to heaven and Sonic was her angel that had brought her here, she felt more in love with him more than she ever had before.

They came to halt turning Blaze's attention to a giant building which seemed out of place among the modern buildings this one was much older ancient even like a temple, "Whoa, he was right, these people sure know how to decorate," Sonic said looking up to the temple, it was draped in colorful flowers, lanterns were hung and on every hookable area, streamers and banners and ribbons danced on it through the unpredictable beat of the wind, Sonic looked over to Blaze remembering she didn't know what they were looking at, "this is the Gaia gate that Antonio was talking about Apotos must of spruced it up after I left" he told her. Blaze remembered Sonic mentioning these they were portal like places which lead to different places in the area that contained enteritis that aided the quest of restoring the chaos emeralds and in turn the planet, "Wow this thing has been around since this whole world began? She asked filled with curiosity and wonder, "Yeah I know cool right, bet you have loads more of these types of things over in your world,"
Blaze suddenly felt a tingle inside of her, " you know come to think of it I haven't seen your home that much Hey maybe that's where we should go sometime on our vacation" Sonic continued, the tingling inside Blaze grew, the phrase your home hit Blaze hard, "well enough of that, let's go book into that hotel" Sonic said starting to walk on but Blaze seemed frozen, the little tingle had turned into jolts "Blaze?" Sonic asked stopping and looking back to her feeling concerned, but Blaze didn't answer Sonic walked back over to her "Hey baby what's up?" he asked again his concern on the rise "Sonic... I- I-" Blaze struggled to speak before she could continue the air in her lungs was forced out she closed her eyes gasping for breath when she opened her eyes she saw all 7 sol emeralds floating infront of her, they started to dance around her almost in a frenzy. "Whoa Blaze why dya bring the sol emeralds out? Sonic asked quickly running to Blaze's side he looked around for any source of danger but there was none, "but... I didn't" Blaze said she sounded frightened, had the sol emeralds gone rogue? they ceased their raging movements and started rapidly spinning round them, Sonic covered Blaze for reassurance and protection, each emerald started to shine and the light combined blinded both of them and were enveloped in a dome of light, both of them shut their eyes Blaze held onto Sonic with all her might, the fear of losing him had returned for the first time in 3 months, she couldn't lose him, not her angel she was in heaven she didn't want to leave. They felt their bodies becoming lighter as if pieces of them were vanishing but despite it they clung to eachother... Even if it was the end. Their brains blanked out not knowing what was going to happen when the dome of light faded Sonic and Blaze had vanished.
