Mistletoe Magic Part 2

She kept following Tails to his home hadn't not spoken to him since they set off but she needed to know something and surely his best friend would know.
"Hey Tails do know where Sonic is or what he went off to do?" She said looking over to him seeming puzzled also,
"I don't know sorry, he didn't tell me, but whatever it was he seemed happier then I've seen in a long time," he said Blaze giggled,
"Hehe I think I know why" she said happily, which perked up Tail's natural desire for knowledge,
"What is it then?" he asked eager to hear the explanation for his best friend's sudden turn of joy, Blaze was unsure if to tell him but Sonic said he didn't mind if she told him or not,
"Um... Me...and Sonic are... (she turned to Tails with a smile and that said enough)"
"Whoa Really!? You're together?! That's awesome... Ahhh so that explains it" he said folding his arms and closing eyes holding his smile
"Explains what?" Blaze asked,
"While you were gone Sonic stopped acting like himself, it was like he felt miserable, he never hung out with us or go for runs as much as he used to... We never saw him at night he'd had always gone off somewhere by himself, we were all worried about him, and we didn't know why... But now it makes sense, it's because he loves you, he missed you and didn't feel happy without you." he answered. Blaze stopped walking and looked down to the ground,
"He was really like that?" she asked herself, she now felt so bad for making Sonic wait so long, making himself suffer all that time, she knew she couldn't of done anything else but she didn't like hearing Sonic was dying inside because of her and there was nothing she could of done,
"Yeah... He was" Blaze looked up to see Tails had too stopped walking and answered her question,
"But... That's not the case now, he's happy now... Just focus on the now Blaze and the now is that you and Sonic are in love." Tails said trying to copy Sonic's smirk, Blaze knew Tails was right, now sense in regretting the past she couldn't change, all she wanted to do now and for always is to love Sonic and be happy, her smile returned,
"You're right Tails" she said her face beaming with happiness,
"Yeah aren't I always" Tails said smugly, obviously Sonic's attitude had rubbed off on him, Blaze smirked
"Yeah? Well I got here before you could get to my world, so who's right there?" Blaze retorted filled with confidence,
"...Touché" Tails said sounding defeated Blaze did have a point, Tails decided to leave it at that and they both continued to walk on. Soon enough they arrived at Tail's home, it was considerably bigger then Sonic's, the obvious reason was it was two stories, and it was wider then his as well, she guessed he needed the space for all the projects he had or was making in there. Tails opened the door and stepped inside with Blaze following, the inside of his home was just like Sonic's only bigger except for the staircase on the far left, she looked to her immediate right and saw a Christmas tree though to her it looked like an average pine that had been decorated, underneath it was multicolored presents all wrapped up,
"What's with all the presents?" she asked, Tails turned round
"There for The Christmas party" he said, that still didn't satisfy Blaze's curiosity,
"...What's Christmas really about?" she asked nervously trying not sound stupid for not knowing the meaning of the holiday, Tails paused trying to think of a suitable answer,
"Christmas is about the kindness we share with each other, and spending time with our friends and families and other people we care about, the reason we give presents is a way to show we care for each other despite all things, plus it's a blast to have a party for."
Blaze felt comfortable she was in a holiday where everything was peaceful, this could mean for the first time she could let go and just relax.
"Right let's get started then Blaze, can you help me the party ready" Tails asked reminding Blaze there was work to be done,
"Uh... Yeah sure". She said, and then the two got started getting the catering, lights, music, and other important details. They worked all day, and when everything became ready the time had turned to 9:30pm. and sure enough guests came and the party was on.

Everyone had come from closest friends to greatest rivals though obviously Eggman wasn't there, the party was hyped up music playin, conversations brewing, presents being opened, food and drink being digested, but as Blaze walked through the crowd of familiar faces there was no sight of the that stuck out more than any other Her blue beloved, as time went on the thrill of the party and being surrounded by friends began to wear off on her and was beginning to feel sad, Sonic had promised her he'd be here for her, but the time had moved to 10:45, did he lie to her?... Did he really love her after all? She didn't feel like being with everyone else anymore she passed through the crowd and through the door out into the cold Christmas night. She stood and looked up, seeing the stars and moon in the clear winter sky, she felt tears coming up from feeling so alone, being betrayed by someone who she thought loved her, she felt close to breaking down... Until she heard a voice, THE voice, HIS voice,
"Blaze?" She looked in front of her and her assumption was correct, in front standing was Sonic the Hedgehog looking concerned.
"Sonic!" Blaze exclaimed, her sadness disappeared she lost control and just rushed up and hugged him tightly feeling her love for the blue blur coming back,' Sonic hugged her back he had missed her too.
"Hehe... Sorry I'm late gorgeous hope I didn't miss the party" he said chuckling, but instead of getting a kiss he got two slaps.
"Oww! What was that for?"'He asked shocked and sounding hurt, Blaze put her hands on her hips and scowled
"Well for one DON'T run off without telling me, I've been worrying my tail off all day about you," she spat,
"Sorry I-" Sonic attempted but Blaze continued
"And secondly, it's rude to keep your love let alone a lady waiting," she spat again, Sonic didn't attempt to protest in way he knew he was in the wrong,
"I'm sorry" Sonic said sounding slightly scared, scared of the fact he might have just turned her love into hate,
"AND THRIDLY!" Blaze continued shouting; Sonic closed his eyes and lowered his head preparing for another slap, but instead felt the warm peaceful feeling on his lips which could only be the kiss of his beloved Blaze.
"Wha?" Sonic said after their lips parted, he was confused wasn't he just being told off by her?
"That's for keeping your promise" She said now having that same affectionate smile that she had last night, Sonic smirked
"Well... Of course I would never make you a promise if I couldn't keep it." Sonic said but then instantly rubbing his cheek which was stinging in the cold after being slapped.

"Och that hurt" he said quietly though Blaze had good hearing,
"Well that will teach you" she said being cheeky, Sonic chuckled to,
"Yeah sure has, Ahh, remind me never to get on your bad side" Sonic said trying to be funny, Blaze kissed him on the stinging cheek, in a way it stopped it stinging a little due to the warmth of her touch,
"Well then don't leave me again alright?... Oh who am I kidding I can't stay mad at you and I could never hate you, you're my boyfriend and I love you." Blaze smiled as Sonic smiled back,
"I love you too Blaze, and I couldn't hate you either, you have my heart and soul, I am yours and I always will be,"
"And I you Sonic" and they looked into each others eyes and in perfect sync they moved their heads forward and kissed both their hearts and minds were at peace, lost in their own world of romance. As they broke they heard a noise that didn't belong in this moment... Someone was crying. They both looked back to Tails's house, Sonic froze, and there hiding behind the side of the house was Amy crying her eyes out.
"Amy..." Sonic attempted to comfort her but he got cut off.
"HOW COULD YOU!!! I THOUGHT WE WERE MEANT TO BE!!!" she wept with tears flowing down her face,
"Amy... We've been through this... We're... Just friends" as soon Sonic said that he wished he hadn't, not the best thing to say to the girl who's been obsessed with you for years.
"WHAT ABOUT THE MISTLETOE I GAVE YOU! DIDN'T IT MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU?!" She said as she continued to cry, Blaze on the other hand was slightly stunned that mistletoe that was the bridge between hers and Sonic's hearts came from her, so in a way she got them together, but she made the smart decision on not telling her that, an upset and infuriated Amy was danger for everyone.
"...Amy..." Sonic tried but he didn't know what to say,
"I HATE YOU!!!!" Amy screamed then she turned round and ran.
"AMY WAIT!!" Sonic shouted he started to run after her he wanted to try and explain things to her but something pulled him back by his arm, he looked back to see it was Blaze.
"Blaze what are you doing?" he asked quickly, sure he loved Blaze but Amy was still a friend and he didn't want her to be upset, but Blaze shook her head,
"I'll go talk to her" she said calmly, Sonic's eyes widened,
"What?! Blaze you can't she'll hurt you" Sonic exclaimed trying to reason with her, he didn't want her to get in harms way but Blaze wasn't listening.
"It's better if I go, a girl on girl conversation is all she needs" she said sounding sure she had the solution, Sonic wasn't sure but...
"...Alright... if you're sure, I trust you" Sonic bravely said though slightly worried he was letting his love go into the lions den, Blaze then let go of Sonic and ran ahead to pursue Amy.

She looked over for Amy she herself didn't mind the cold cause of her flames but she was worried about Amy she was probably freezing out here, all alone. Through the snow covered wilderness Blaze could see a frozen lake ahead, then she looked harder she made out Amy standing on the water's edge, obviously staring out for some sign of answer, though not knowing what could happen Blaze still approached her, feeling the same as her boyfriend, she didn't want her to be like this either.
"Amy...?" She asked with concerned Amy turned round to see who it was; she was still crying trying to sniff her sadness away,
"(sniff) Oh it's you, shouldn't you be with Sonic, or have you come to gloat?" she said behind her tears showing despise in her voice,
"No Amy, I-" she attempted but Amy wouldn't hear it
"Yeah, go on rub it in my face. You've won; you've got Sonic there happy? You can't do anything worse" She scowled through her tears, Blaze was hurt but she understood,
"No Amy please I just want to talk" Blaze said sincerely but again Amy was having none of it,
"About what? How good of a kisser Sonic is? How good it feels to be his?" she spat again,
"No Amy, I just want to help you" Blaze said, this just got Amy angrier
"I don't want help from you!" she spat again, she stepped forward but tripped and fell in the snow,
"Amy!" Blaze said seeing her friend on the cold ground she went and picked her up she was nearly ice cold.
"Goodness you're freezing" she said sounding shocked that she came out here in this weather and was this cold,
"Get off me" Amy said weakly, but Blaze wouldn't, not when she was this cold,
"No you're freezing I'm gonna warm you up" she said insistently being sure she wouldn't freeze to death. Blaze picked her up ignited one hand and melted the snow on the ground giving them some where to sit down, she sat her down beside her and kept her ignited hand close to Amy to keep her warm, weirdly Amy didn't pull away Blaze knew Amy wasn't stupid enough to resist warmth in the cold. Over the course of a couple of minutes Amy's body began to warm up again, and wasn't being hostile to Blaze anymore,
"Feeling better?" Blaze asked still feeling concerned for her well being,
"Yeah I am... Thanks" Amy said feeling unsure on how to feel,
"It's foolish to come out here in the cold at this time alone," Blaze said
"Yeah... I guess" Amy agreed though part of her hated to,
"Come on, Sonic and me were worried about you, and that's not gonna help" Blaze continued starting to turn this into a lecture.
"...Yeah I guess you're right" she replied still feeling upset,
"Hey come on, cheer up let's go back to the party, let's go have fun" Blaze said trying to pep Amy back up, Amy tried to chuckle back but she didn't sound happy.
"Heh... I don't know... I don't think I'm in the Christmas mood" Amy said looking down, Blaze looked over to her with pity, but she looked beyond Amy and saw a tree and what was underneath it, she had an idea.
"Looks like you're not the only one" Blaze said, Amy lifted her head to see Blaze looking beyond her, when she turned to look she saw what Blaze saw there leaning against the tree was the ultimate life form Shadow the hedgehog. Amy strangely found herself mesmerized by the presence of the black hedgehog, Blaze could sense it probably because she had already been there before with Sonic, and she gave Amy a little nudge,
"Go on" she said persuading her to go up to him, Amy wasn't sure but why but part of her was tempted to do so. She stood up and did indeed start to walk towards the melancholy hedgehog,
"...Hi Shadow" she said nervously, Shadow opened his eyes and saw Amy approaching him, as usual he stayed quiet, Amy didn't know which next move was best, so she just stood beside him,
"Why aren't you at the party?" she asked trying to start a conversation with him,
"Hphmm, Parties, were never my thing" Shadow finally spoke up,
"Oh come on where's your Christmas spirit?" Amy asked beginning to get back to her usual attitude and state of mind,
"Hpmm Christmas has not been my thing......... Not since I lost...her" Shadow answered beginning to reminisce, Amy thought for a split second and realized who he was talking about,
"You mean Maria don't you?" Amy said feeling bad for bringing up the subject, though Shadow didn't seem to mind maybe because he was used to it, he had always been haunted by her memory,
"Yes...... When she taken from me I lost everything, what was I to celebrate without her, when she was gone, no one was there," Shadow said beginning to open up more to her,
"... Well I'm here for you I care for you a lot" Amy couldn't believe she just said that, Shadow too was looking at her in disbelief,
"Hpmm, why do you care? Shouldn't you be caring for Sonic and being with him?" He retorted, Amy was stuck, that weird temptation had grew, she felt so attracted to the mysterious Black hedgehog so eager to pull him from the darkness that overwhelmed his heart and make him see the bright side of life again. Now she couldn't believe what she was thinking "...maybe... It's time... Time to let Sonic go"
"Sonic isn't the thing that's most important to me anymore... I want to help you that's what's important to me now,"
Shadow looked at her still bemused,
"What are you getting at?" Shadow asked, Amy went bright red,
"...Well... Shadow...To tell you the truth... I-I- I think I love you" Amy immediately covered her mouth in disbelief; she did the impossible she had admitted she loved someone that wasn't Sonic.
Shadow was to stunned but that quickly turned into a smirk,
"Hmm, well... I guess I have to admit I felt something about you back when you showed me the light at space Colony ark." Amy couldn't believe it, she wasn't being turned down and forced away.
"Why didn't you say anything?" she asked, Shadow grinned,
"You seemed busy chasing and drooling over Sonic" Amy saw sense in that reason; now looking back she did think all she had done to crave Sonic's attention had been childish and silly.
"So that means..." Amy said happily, her hope building, Shadow stood up straight and smirked,
"Yeah... I guess I could say I love you too Miss Rose" Before Shadow could say anymore Amy shouted with glee,
"Oh Shadow!" then she kisses him, Shadow was slightly taken back by it, he had never been this close to a girl apart from Maria, it had been so long so he had to go back to square one, he matched her kissing movements and they both shared the rush and the passion. Amy looked back and seen Blaze had gone but she didn't care all that mattered to her now was loving her new boyfriend.

Meanwhile on top of a hillside with a tree on top of it also stood the other new couple of Sonic the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat, Enjoying the beautiful view of the world ahead mixed with the moon and stars shining brightly for them,
"So Amy's cool with Shadow huh? That's great, they're both happy" Sonic said sounding relieved, Blaze smiled out towards the view
"Yeah... Everybody's happy that's what Christmas is all about right?"
"Yep, alls well that ends well" He said turning his head to his love and hugged her and she returned the hug,
"But there's just one thing bothering me" Blaze said, Sonic pulled away to look at her in the eye,
"What?" he asked, Blaze too looked him in the eye,
"Where did you go? You were gone all day, what business could you have and you couldn't tell me about?" Sonic then went bright red and started starching the back of his head,
"Uh well I-" Sonic stuttered,
"Tell me Sonic I love you, you can tell me anything," Sonic paused for a moment,
"Close your eyes" Sonic told Blaze,
"Why?" she asked, her curiosity building,
"Just please trust me" Sonic pleaded, Blaze did what he asked and closed her eyes... She felt something go round her wrist,
"Okay open your eyes" Sonic said, when she opened her eyes and immediately looked at her wrist... she was surprised out her mind.
There on her wrist was a golden ring but it had Chaos emerald shards one of each color encrusted into it and placed evenly around it,
"OH SONIC IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE IT!!!" she exclaimed as she hugged her blue gift giver tightly,
"I had to have help from Knuckles to make it that's what took all day, Happy Christmas Blaze" he said softly,
"I'll never take it off, never." she said filled with love,
"Yeah well it's my Christmas present to you" Sonic replied with the same amount of love in his tone, before Sonic could say anything else Blaze wrapped herself around,
"Well in that case let me give you YOUR present" she cooed, Sonic looked around Blaze's person and found nothing,
"What is it?" he asked, Blaze planted her lips on his, and then pulled them away again, then she giggled,
"Silly hedgehog, I'm your gift," She cooed again and planted her lips on his again, once apart again Sonic smirked
"Well in that case consider that ring a two for one deal, accept the ring now and you get a brave hedgehog that will always love you for free" Sonic cooed back, and then standing up they began to make out.
After a couple minutes of that, they released each other, then Sonic reached for the back of his head and pulled out a camera, when Blaze saw it she knew what it was for,
"You've been waiting for this chance for a long time haven't you?" Blaze said remembering the space in his photo album back at his house,
"Yep do ya mind?" Sonic asked he didn't want to take a picture if she didn't want to,
"Not at all" Blaze said, she then started to check her hair and her clothes for neatness.
Sonic held out the camera with one hand and set it's sight on them, Sonic put his arm over Blaze and she put her's over his waist, then he snapped the shot, Blaze thought that was done, but Sonic wanted one more,
"Well, that's the wall done; may I have one of "us" to go by my bed side?" Sonic asked, Blaze knew why the picture they had just taken was them as friends, but now he wanted one of them for what they really were.
"Yes you may" she cooed Sonic faced Blaze and she did the same, they moved their heads closer until they kissed again then Sonic took the photo, and there it was his picture album was complete it would always be as long as he had that one picture. Blaze giggled
"Just think Sonic, we were brought together by a single plant"
"Well... Guess that's what you can call mistletoe magic" suddenly snow started to fall on the world of Mobius matching the scene,
"Happy Christmas Blaze I love you" Sonic said gazing into her golden eyes,
"I love you too Sonic, Happy Christmas" she replied gazing into his emerald eyes, again they felt the same affection and they knew what to do, they moved their heads close to each other and in-between the snow, the starry moonlight sky, and the tree hill, they shared all their passion, devotion affection and love, in one kiss, they knew they were going to stay together forever.
